It is no surprise that the relationship between man and dog goes back thousands of years. And the stories of adventure are most particular in the family itself.

So much so, that Ivette Ivens of Chicago just had a beautiful baby boy and came across Farley.

Farley is a French bulldog that happened to be born on the same day as Mrs. Ivens's son, Dilan.

Thus in this instance, a woman felt an unconquerable connection to a bulldog and wanted him right away.

And why not? They are both babies with the same shared beginning.

It was not reported if Farley was a rescue dog, taken from a shelter, or given away.

Either way, he was an instant member of the family. And in no way, be competing for attention with the baby Dilan.

The bulldog was seen as a complement to her son for his development.

And as it turned out, her family too. Mrs. Ivens went with her gut instinct and the rest is said in the most stunning and revealing pictures!

They say that a picture tells a thousand words, but any dog lover will see much more.

They will get emotional and teary-eyed and simultaneously bubble with joy.

Where else can a picture project such a heartwarming response? The lady with the smirk can’t do that compared to a beautiful baby and a beautiful dog with a joyful story.

What is more beautiful than one hand on Farley's paw and another under his ear? Who needs a lifeless teddy?

Just look at that sweet dream sleep, in total safety and peace!

It seems he is quiet enough for his pal Dilan to sleep, but conscientious enough to take sneaky pet pics with mummy.

And, keeping his oxytocin levels at bay to keep the baby dreaming.
